Jaime & Kyle's Glastonbury Boathouse Wedding Reception

And we’re back with the second half of Jaime & Kyle’s wedding day!

Just to recap… Jaime & Kyle were married in September at the Glastonbury Boathouse, right on the Connecticut River. It was a beautiful day, and everything was just perfect!

The happy bride & groom!

We really can’t say enough good things about the Glastonbury Boathouse. It’s definitely our favorite venue in Hartford County for sure!

The wedding party turns back to wave to a woman in pink driving by in a boat.

A local couple cruised down the river on their boat while we were photographing the wedding party. Perfect timing!

Are these not the best wedding cake toppers you’ve ever seen?? We’ve seen tons of different options for cake toppers over the years, but these dinosaurs might be our new favorites.

It’s always fun when the groom gets cake smashed in his face, but then Jaime really stepped it up & got her new brother-in-law, too!

Bride playfully smashes cake in grooms face, then laughs, and smashes cake in the brother of the groom’s face.
The happy bride & groom during each of their parent dances.

Most of the time, brides will pick a classic “dad & daughter” song, or a song that is sentimental to them. But then Jaime & her dad took the floor.. In lieu of a traditional father-daughter dance, Jaime & her dad chose…..

THE CHICKEN DANCE.

That’s right. You heard us. The chicken dance.

It was hilarious & awesome, the wedding party & guests all joined in, too. It was the perfect way to open up the dance floor for the rest of the night!
